The Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) released data on the prevalence of Autism in the United States.
Their surveillance study identified 1 in 68 children (1 in 42 boys and 1 in 189 girls) as having Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

On June 24th over 140 Teams driving cars ranging from 45 to 101 years old will be leaving Jacksonville, Florida on the Great Race; a 9-day, 2,500 mile Time/Speed/Endurance Rally. This grueling competition will take the "Racers" and their support teams through Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio and Michigan ending in Traverse City, Michigan on July 2nd.
As a Great Race tradition Teams are also competing to raise donations to Fight Autism One Mile At A Time for the nonprofit Vintage Car Rally Association (VCRA).
100% of funds raised will go to support Autism Programs in Schools, Centers and Institutions across the United States.

Since 2006 the Vintage Car Rally Association (VCRA), a federal nonprofit organization, has received well over $680,000 in charitable donations. As the VCRA has pledged, ALL proceeds are donated to selected Autism Schools, Educational Programs and Institutions across America in need from the many requests that we receive annually.
